Flashcard Factory.png

Wednesday, October 31 7:45 in the library

This is a tool created by Pear Deck that allows the students to draw a picture and explain words the teacher has listed, and then they are pushed out to be seen and voted on by the class.  The top flashcards get made into a Quizlet, with a link for sharing out to students so they can use the stack the class created.  This is like Pear Deck and Flip Grid, it can be used as a station or whole group!

Wednesday, October 24 7:45 in the library

Pear Deck is a tool that allows you to push your presentation out onto student devices, and then the students can respond interactively to the questions and situations on their screen.  It is really easy and really powerful for getting feedback on how they are understanding their learning.  They can even use this in a self-paced mode, so you could use this at a station.

Google Forms.jpg

September 5, 7:45 a.m. in the library

If you would like to have help learning how to create a Google Form, this is for you!  Google Forms are great for collecting information you need from students or parents, like shirt sizes, finding who is bringing what to an event.

Google Forms are great for formative assessment- use as an Exit ticket or an assignment.  The system even allows for images to be used as part of the question or answer.
